Examples of Good Flood Management Projects
By
Bill DeGroot, P.E.
Manager, Floodplain Management Program

Introduction
Urban Drainage and Flood Control District staff members are often asked for examples of projects that others could use as models or inspiration for new projects. This webpage is intended to present, in one place, excellent examples from the Denver area of different types of facilities and structures.

The linked documents are heavy on photographs and drawings of the various facilities, accompanied with brief text intended to set the stage regarding the subject examples. Detailed design criteria are referenced to the District's Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual.
